There comes a point in healing when you realize:
You’re not interested in proving your strength anymore.
You’re not interested in surviving like it’s a sport.
You’re interested in being. Whole. Present. Soft.
I used to equate strength with endurance. With pushing through migraines, spasms, grief, trauma, bone-tired days. I kept going — because stopping felt like failure. Because rest made me anxious. Because softness felt like weakness.
But I see now: that wasn’t strength. That was resignation in a war I didn’t even agree to fight.
True strength is different.
It’s slower. Quieter.
It listens instead of performs.
